Hey all -

Was wondering if any forum users could offer me some input on what a good price for a used Red One MX would be. A quick search on eBay has prices all over the map.

My kit is a Red One MX with just under 1000 hours, Tactical Baseplate/shoulder mount with handles, etc., 3 320 red drives, a handful of CF cards, technica shock grips for drives, v mount plate, birger EF mount w/ wireless follow focus, top handles, side handles, 7 inch red LCD with Israeli arm, all necessary cables, and a pelican case. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Having the Birger EF mount with the Impero controller is a positive for you. Not having SSD Side and REDMAG's is not the greatest thing. I sold R1MX BT on Ebay With 672 Hours SSD Side Module 2 64GB Redmags and Reader. Birger Mount (Without Impero) 7inch Red Pro Monitor, element technical top handle, Red Branded Pelican Case etc. for $4,300.00.

I had it priced for $5500.00 but I had no takers. I lowered it to $4999.99 and I started getting interest. Ultimately I sold it for $4300 to a guy who really wanted it and that was all he had. I'm ok with the price but I would like to have made more.

It's easy to find an SSD side Module and RedMags but that Impero is not easy to find. I think you can get more for your package than I did if you are very descriptive and sell to a knowledgeable buyer. Good luck.

The prices on Red One MX kits have been an average of $3800-5000, with the lowest I've seen being $2,650 and the higher end being $5500.

Although the price on the Red One MX (and the Scarlet Mysterium) will undoubtedly drop even more as the market will be flooded with low price Ravens and the new Weapons as Red catches up with the backlog of orders and more people sell their old, now more antiquated cameras.

Would you be open to selling the Birger Mount and wireless follow focus? I'll do cash plus send you my Nikon mount if you are interested?
