Very, very well taken care of - has lost one clip in 5 years - so it's "one of the good Reds"

I have been a user here for a long time and have many references so you can buy with confidence.

Camera is located in Montreal, and you can come and see/test it in person if you like.

Still beats Scarlet in many ways (you can record a 3 hour interview with no heat or fan issues… Great sound with proper XLR inputs...) , and produces much nicer looking images than anything from BM. Back in the day some people preferred this cam over Alexa, and still do.

THIS IS NOT A "BATTLE TESTED CAMERA" BATTLE TESTED CAMERAS USUALLY HAVE LIVED A SECRET LIFE. BY THAT I MEAN THAT RED SOLD BATTLE TESTED CAMERAS FOR A WHILE WHICH WERE THE CAMERAS WHICH THEY RECIEVED IN TRADE INS FOR THE EPIC AND OTHER CAMERAS. THOUGH THESE CAMERAS WERE "REFURBED" BY RED, MANY HAD THOUSANDS OF HOURS OF USE ON THE CAMERA,CHIP ETC, PRIOR TO BEING TRADED IN TO RED. WHEN RED RECONDITIONED THESE CAMERAS, THEY WIPED OUT THE HOUR METERS, AND PUT NEW SERIAL NUMBERS ON THEM AND SOLD THEM AS "BATTLE TESTED" FOR ABOUT ONE SIXTH THE COST OF THE CAMERA I AM SELLING IN THIS AUCTION.

Robert, with all due respect; to you and this other seller (whom I'm aware of) please, stop spreading FUD.

While there are a couple of instances of "wiped" meters, the vast majority have a clear listing of total hours, and the hours listed are indicative to the total lifetime of the camera.

As it is common knowledge, the total hours on any body is a Total Running Time, not Recording Time.

And if you would like to take that a step further, in some cases; regarding cameras with "thousands of hours," being the direct result of M to MX upgrades.
