[SOLD] RED One (MX) Package WANTED!!!

Looking for a Red One or Red One MX Package ready to shoot for around 5K. I'm a highschool student trying to film a ski movie. I just need the bare basics to be able to shoot a ski movie in 4K with Nikon lenses. I'm guessing I will need a couple batteries and a drive.

High School and you want a RED ONE? Have you shot with RED before? Do you know the whole cost of everything. Even if you where to get a whole package for 5 grand, you still will have tons of footage so lots of hard drives. Might want to rent a RED or something. And also do you really need you film in 4K?

I don't think that the red one is the right camera for you. You are going to need a lot more than "a couple of" batteries and you will need ND filters, tripod, etc.
I suggest that you get a hold of a red one and carry it around for half an hour, then decide if maybe a smaller, lighter, less power and data hungry camera may be for you.

Thanks guys. Yup, I've got to finish the film in 4K...Been saving up forever for this. I understand the costs of everything. I have shot with DSLRs in the past, and they just aren't enough. I was going to get the BlackMagic 4K cam...but seems like that's not going to work out. Also, the higher FPS on the Red One is perfect for ski stuff. I've played around with a bud's Epic before, but no real experience with an RED stuff. Was going to rent one to try first, but in Vancouver, a basic package costs around 700 w/out tax to rent so that's out of the equation....Thanks
