  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hello everybody!

I have had a little issue with my RED ONE MX for a while now. When booting the camera, it turns on and the menu monitor stays White. It stays like this and doesn't actually boot up fully.

Anyone here had this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

The issue I had with mine ended up being a pinched lens data cord. It was grounding out and it wouldn't boot up at all. It was pretty much the same symptoms as yours. I could hear the power control board clicking so I figured it had something to do with delivering power through the board. Do you hear anything clicking inside when booting up? Have you changed lens mounts recently?
