Red One M camera is still a good deal?

another question. Do you think is reliable to buy an Used Red One?
i don't know how frequently these cameras need service...i don't know if they break fast...
?
 
It's like buying any other used camera. You really don't know where it has been or what it has been put through. With R1, you can send it in during the transfer of ownership and get a stamp of approval that the camera is working properly. I think this costs $500. And there may be a limited warranty that comes with it. Details are a bit foggy as I've never had to do a transaction like this with RED. Someone with more experience selling a RED might want to jump in. As long as you buy it from someone legit and can have RED certify it, I think you'll be fine.
