I was wondering if the Red One or 7" LCD gave you the option to stretch the video output. The reason being that I own several anamorphic lenses and plan on using them on my new Red One (It'll be here in a few days).

I'll be using a mix of 1.33x squeeze and 2x squeeze lenses, and if possible I'd like to view them un-squeezed as I shoot.

Thanks!

Hi there, just had the camera up, the 7'' will give You the unsqueezed picture, but I don't know what the ratio of 4K ANA is.

Ana modes will actually record a partial window on the sensor, meaning you're getting unsqueezed recordings. The monitor will display correctly, as the X2 squeeze isn't being recorded (like anamorphic on a DSLR) on a 16:9 area, it's recording in 4K Ana (or whatever ana mode you have set) - therefore, there's no need to adjust the monitor - you'll just get a corrected image.

Note that Ana modes are designed for X2 not 1.33.

Also, if you want the super thin 'strip' that's so fashionable these days (and is the result of X2 being recorded onto 16:9 and then correctly converted, so you get less than a third of image area and the rest black), you'd shoot in the non ana modes and then you'd need to desqueeze the image,
