I found a Red One for sale in Ebay, seller is from Riyadh, Ulia, Saudi Arabia, serial number for this camera is '5130',.

It includes this accessories:

1- Base production Pack.

2- Red 18-50mm T3 lens.

3- RedFlash (CF) module.

4- Red LCD(5.6 in).

5- Red power Pack (CHARGER, 2 BATTERIES, POWER & CAMERA CABLES).

6- Red Drive. ( storage ).

7- Nikon Mount.

8- Red bottom plate.

9- Shoulder dovetail.

10- Red cheese plate.

11- Evf cable.

12- Lcd cable.

13- Red arm 9in.

14- Red camera case.

15- Steel 6-inch.

Starting bid is US$30,000=

My question is: Is it a good deal?

Just adding it up in my head, it seems like his asking price is fair, but you have to consider what shipping and import fees would be from Saudi Arabia to Columbia compared to ordering a new camera from RED.

He is taking much of a loss on this camera package at that price. It may cost you a bit more, but buying direct from RED will give you a full warranty.

Also, don't forget you will want to send it in to Red for evaluation and the ownership transfer - which is $1250 if I remember correctly total of ($500 evaluation and $750 transfer info fee)

Hmm, I don't think so. If I'm right it all adds up just a little over 30k USD. Considering the 18-50 can be had second hand for under 4k it seems a better deal to buy the rest directly from RED.

Hehe... Good catch. Yes, it was supposed to say "isn't"!!! The guy is not taking much loss on this sale at that price.

Bit steep. I cant imagine that would be a good deal for anyone outside of Saudi.
