Red One front adaptor for 15 mm rods

[Meassi Gianluca]

Hi RUs,

what kind of adaptor or mount for 15 mm rods is the one shown in this video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=sYfhWIYGcpI#t=464sIt seems that is tied to the RedOne using the holes of those 4 small scews in front of the camera body.
If you look at all the video it's clear is not fasted to a baseplate.

Sorry if it's a noob question.

Thanks
GL

That is the Element Technica 15mm LW Mount. I don't think they make it anymore, but you might find one used. Long Valley Equipment also made a similar one. Not sure if those are still available or not.

Where is it available? It says discontinued on their site. Do you have a source for it?

I found this link, which seems to sell a generic version:

Anyone use one of these? Does it fit right?

I have one that may be the same unit that I bought off of Amazon for under $100. The build quality isn't up to RED or Wooden Camera snuff but it works great. I'm happy with it. I basically leave the rods attached all the time so build quality isn't as important.
