Under the beta firmware it has this Firmware 32.02

SIGNIFICANT CHANGES SINCE BUILD 31 SERIES FIRMWARE.
Added REDColor2, REDColor3 and REDLogFilm
Fix ISO setting after MX restore
Fix HANC metadata RECORD flag
Fix Bomb EVF intensity range
Added support to read .RMD files

I am thinking of trying it out. I have two weeks in January free and was thinking of playing with this firmware.

Anyone using this and is it a huge difference from the most recent build?

If it is a major difference I will do it for sure. If minor I guess I can wait for an official.

Thank you for any help.

so there will be red color 1, 2 and 3 option with the battle tested? Red gamma 3 wont be there untill the new firmware correct?

I'm also thinking in instaling the beta version, but I'm curious to know if there are any bug on the beta version...

The only bug that I've found was that when switching back to rc3 from raw, it does not switch back and you have to go to the menu to change it. Other than that, it's rock solid.I've already used it for a commercial job.

The only problem we ran into is that we could not load looks from the SD card that we created in redcine-x (or looks saved directly from the camera to the SD card). So if we switched from white background to sets and then back to white or such we had to re-do the look each time manually and in-camera.

It was nice having the red-color 2 / red-color 3 option but the lack for us to be able to load created looks made us go back to build 31 till the official build 32 is ready.

I ran into the same problems. I've also tried saving the rmds to a "looks" folder on a cf card to mimic exporting it like an epic or scarlet, but that didn't work either. I"m considering changing back to build 31 but i just recently started making looks anyhow so im not sure. If you set the look in camera it does save the RMD right next to the R3D file though.

Just shot a doc with some filming taking place overseas. This was my only complaint so far as well. Otherwise worked perfectly for me, on R1MX
