Significant updates since the previous build:

You need to have a registered account with RED to be able to download new firmware.

Well, anyone using the new firmware? I'm shooting Thursday and wondering if it would be wise to update my firmware tomorrow and test or not. I'm not usually an early adopter on these kinda things.

So far it's been pretty solid. Seems to switch into playback mode faster, might be in my head, but it does seem a little snappier.

Most importantly though, it does seem solid.

What's the benefit of REDColor2 or 3 in the camera ? Aren't these just a flag in the metadata so the Redcine-x will know it has to apply the "REDColor2" look ?

Without this firmware can't I just upload the footage in the computer and switch in Redcine-x to "REDColor2" and I will get the same look ?

Is there a difference ?

And any details about the "Fix: ISO setting after MX restore" ?
