Looking for suggestions on solving this problem, Shot on the Red One (build 16) this morning powered down and then powerd up 10 min later, the camera refuses to boot resulting in the display flashing on two second intervals. Tried unplugging all accessories and rebooting to no avail. We have also tried double rebooting, hard reset (turning camera on with power button held down for 30 seconds) and are now trying leaving on for 30 min and rebooting.

We are shooting indoors no extreme conditions no knocks no drops

HELP PLEASE!

Cheers

I'm having this same problem - After I switch batteries the camera refuses to boot the majority of the time - the lcd panel flashes a blank screen endlessly. I must power down, unplug the evf/
monitor/etc cables, and let it sit, powered off, for around fifteen minutes. Then I turn it on, with all cables minus the battery cable unplugged - it then turns on,at which point I can plug them all back in. It works perfectly until I need to switch batteries again - then the whole cycle repeats. I've been using that fifteen minutes to rehearse actors, change setups, etc, but its terrible when you need to switch batteries right after you've nailed a tech rehearsal and you've cvalled out the talent, etc.

Im on build 17, btw. I've reinstalled the build, but it hasnt solved the problem..
