Red One and Monitor

I own a R1, When I use it none of the in-camera adjustments change in the monitor.( Ex:When bumping ISO up screen does not show it.)
When I was shooting something for a friend with his R1 (With the same monitor) the monitor showed the changes. (Ex: When Bumping ISO up more light was let in and the monitor showed it.)
Any Ideas on what the problem is?

You are monitoring RAW-image? Change it to Redcolor, under Video->View. (Not sure of the path, but you'll find it.)

Mikko hit the nail on the head. You're looking at the RAW image. . . which usually isn't terribly pretty anyway.
