As the saying goes, my loss [could be] your gain, I need to put #97 up for sale.
I took a shot at my dream, and now someone else can, or at least get that spot in line for an Epic earlier:
In filming while deployed to Afghanistan I was able to give a shot at my goal of recording our service-members at a quality commensurate with the time, but while the result achieved a lot of positive exposure, and there are folks inside still pursuing options, it did not elicit the response that I had envisioned from those in long-run decision making capacity enough to warrant continued attempts on my end. As such I have had to face the unfortunate truth and move on.
At some point I will acquire a Scarlet for my own military use, but I am gearing up to deploy to the middle east again, and while I would love to take the RED again, I do not own a lens and cannot justify maintaining ownership of the setup, especially while it could be put to consistent use elsewhere and I could recuperate costs and save for said Scarlet.
I will take PM's from those that would be interested in the camera package until JAN23, I already have an offer for the package at retail value, as such I am posting here to see if anyone is interested in paying a premium for the early number. Highest offer for the full package after the week takes it.
I have no regrets, the camera did everything we hoped it would do, and performed amazingly.

RED ONE #97x Camera body (Original Delivery date of Oct 19th, 2007)

You can transfer ownership of a RED ONE and the new owner can use that priority to upgrade to an EPIC. That should make all RED ONEs valuable to sell and the early serial numbers even more valuable. Remember that a RED ONE can only be used once for trade-in allowance or for a discount on a Scarlet system. Once used, the serial number is then so marked.
