Site is prelim as are rates and not certain at this time on options and extras...we will know more in the next week or so.

hi everyone, glad the first 25 went off without a hitch...i snuck down there today and tried to get in even though i missed the cutoff by 6 cameras, security tackled me to the ground and put a choke hold on me till i fell asleep...just kidding, seriously the energy level was off the charts..

operationally, we want everyone to know that we have had many inquiries on the camera for rentals in the next 45 days, holds have been placed, but there remain a few days and one or two weeks open between now and january, so there is still time to let us know when you would like to use our baby.

moreover, as the calendar fills up, the rates go down, so our published rates may be downwardly modified if all of this interest turns into real solid orders. we have 20+ years in this biz and want to continue for at least another 30, so we aim to please and are flexible enough to make your project a reality.

again congrats to the RED TEAM...and don't blame me for the divot on the lawn where my nose was buried, it was your security guard from oakley that pushed me down....

today i toured a facility in la that has hundreds of PL mount lenses and all of the other gear you would ever need to shoot and at very good prices.

after 3 days of testing red31 is now available to all, it will work this friday on a stage in an undisclosed location, and then generally be available. reservation holders, let me know if you are working on a set of a feature, tv show, commercial or music video and i will come hang with you during lunch and give you a taste.

the camera performed flawlessly. the director and dp were blown away at the ease of use the quality of the lens (18-50mm) and the simple workflow. the director spent today screening all of the footage on redAlert and is making his QT's for a cut.
