  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED One #281 - seriously?

3000 euro is about 3700 USD, for the house and lot of acc. A real conman or your lucky day...

Could it be a stolen camera?

This is probably a hijacked account

This is probably a hijacked account

Just about every eBay auction that contains a email now and we can end this early thing is in violation of the terms of service. It is a sure sign of a scammer.

This could be legit, but I wouldn't bet on it. Plus, it is asking for Euros and claiming the item is in LA. Pretty fishy.

Apparently there's another thread specifically about this new eBay listing, last few posts in this thread:

What does the HEX code prove? Does that mean it's the legit camera? I guess I just don't understand much about hex codes. Anyone care to enlighten me?

It's almost certainly a hijacked account - look at what they normally sell!

scam confirmed

scam confirmed

this IS a scam. confirmed by ebay.
why ebay doesn't take it off the site i don't know though.
might have to do with the fact that it pops up every now and then.

I hope no one bids, pays or gets too excited about these scammers.

Seing that he posts again and again, I assume he has some luck.

Makes me sick!

Great job!

one doll will never buy a thousand toy!!!!

Cheers buddies

I looked into a RED posting on ebay about 6 months ago. The price was comparable to this auction. I called RED and asked if the serial number was stolen. They contacted the owner and he ended up calling me. Turned out he still owned the camera and had no intention of selling it. The true owner was from LA and the ebay seller was from Belgium, or something like that. Through email, I called the ebay guy a *#%@!*^ and he never responded again.

Ebay is really slow with this.

A few years ago somebody put up some auctions under my name and address (not my account) on eBay. People were supposed to mail (!) the money to a different address. And you know what? People are stupid enough to do that.

I did not know any of this until I got a very irate call from a guy asking about his model trains.... We both stopped the sellers other auctions, but that took 2 weeks.
2 months later the police was on my doorstep and I was getting letters from some attorneys for 6 months.

In each case it never took long to sort it out, but I dont have the time and patience for this shit. Ebay should validate new accounts better.
