RED on an Steadicam EFP...

...has anyone mated these two together? The EFP has a max weight of 18kg, if I'm not mistaken but depending on the accessories you will need for the camera I'm assuming it will max out the arm.

Hi Charles,

I have stripped down a Red so far it was too light on my Master´s arm. EFP was my first rig and as long as it holds a full equipped Digital Betacam, which it does, you will be able to strip a Red down to that weight and below.

As you can see on the pics it is pretty much a standard outfit with no EVF and LCD. Prime lens, mattebox, filter, remote focus, downconverter. I am sure you can use it with much more additional equipment on an EFP.

Thanks Markus. Total weight 17kg, you mentioned, not bad. Great reference pics. BTW, isn't the G40 arm handles about the same weight - total mass of 18kg?
