RED Obama

[Shawn Booth]

I had the pleasure of shooting Sen. Obama today. (with a camera!)
RED 300mm
Here's a snapshot from REDCINE.
(Displayed in REDSPACE, no other corrections.)

[Pietro Impagliazzo]

Man, that's really cool.
Image's looking great!

Post more if you can/have.

PS: Will you vote for him?

[Shawn Booth]

Yes, I will vote for him. (I think everyone in Hawai'i will...)

Will post some more stuff later. Just got home from shooting all day and I'm not like the RED Team, need sleep.

Hope this doesn't get picked up by some secret service bot

[Craig W. Bickerstaff]

Oh awesome will we see some video on this eventually?
Maybe 480p quicktime h.264? (I have a powerbook g4 guys)

[BigLu]

Thats RAD Shawn

I see a problem with your aspect ratio
did you shoot 2 to 1? I see a black on top and on bottom.

inside joke

Obama? BLAH:wink: It kinda looks soft(the pic that is). Is it just me?

[Tom Lowe]

yeah it's soft.

[Joe Vinson]

It's not soft. Not everyone knows this, but Obama actually generates a 10-foot-radius Soft Focus Field (SFF), much like Barbara Walters.

Imagine McCain's wrinkles in 4K! Ahhh!

hehehe.

Nice image, Shawn! I'm sure a slight sharpen will fix that.

Looking forward to more Obama RED videos over the coming years.

In my defense, the footage is not soft. The still isn't soft until I look at it posted. The TIFF and footage are sharp.
