RED MX #127 w/ 11-16mm f2.8 Ultra Wide Lens

Hey Andrew. Do you have a matte box for that lens? Any idea of what matte boxes will work with that lens?

During the day time shots I was using my Red Rock matte box. But I don't think it was the best solution because you have to have the lens so far in the matte box when shooting at 11mm. That makes using a follow focus almost impossible. Seems like a small matte box with only two stages and clip on might be the best. Matt had one but I didn't take it with me.

I have to say, T2.8 at night with this lens is only possible thanks to RED's MX sensor.
I tired the same thing with a Nikon D300s at ISO 800 and it looked like garbage.

Yeah, the MX sensor with a f2.8 lens is very suitable for night photography.

I use the arri mmb-1 with 80mm clip on ring. Works perfectly with 2 stages no vignette on 11mm.

here with pola and nd soft grad.

Great shots andrew, thoroughly enjoyed your TOkina MX Results...I def should not sell this lens. I wish I had the Duclos version but its simply too pricey a mod for me, well built piece I must say. The TL over the ocean is epic. nice work.
