RED Monstro Test Footage

[Kieran Wheeler]

Keen to try out our brand new RED VV Monstro, we originally intended to just get some nice shots at a couple of cool locations, but things quickly escalated and we got 4 of our actor friends on board, a steadicam operator and we then formed a loose narrative, and what was supposed to be a quick test shoot turned into a fairly epic two days of shooting.

To really test out what the camera could do, we only used naturally composed lighting, with a bit of bounce at times. On occasion we had to crank the ISO up to 2000, which was no problem.

Nice! I'm jealous of your locations.
Do you find the CP.2s hold up for resolution/micro contrast on the VV sensor?
