Red Mic/audio system?

Im just wondering if there has been any word of Red making a mic/dedicated audio system, to go with Red or a list of third party companies that work with Red, on the audio side? :blush:

I think the RED team may have enough on their plate at present time.

There are several 3rd party options avaialble for getting sound in and out of the camera. Depends on your budget, and use. Plenty of small field mixers, pre-amps a gagle of microphones.

Speaking of microphones, I've not read any mention of one of my friends mics mentioned here. Heil Sound makes some damned good pro mics, and Bob is an all around good guy. Granted, he makes mainy broadcast and live recording mics.

At the end of the day audio is audio. Take a stroll through the forums, see what items other users are plugging in.
