RED Meizler Module and REDRAY Player demoed at Pinewood

[Mike Gifford]

Just back from BSC at Pinewood - RED had a nice big stand and a big presence at the show

I saw a working prototype of the Meizler module on a shoulder-rigged Epic going off on a long walkabout sending crisp 1080p to a large monitor connected to RED SDI receiver,
another Meizler equipped Epic doing the same to RED HDMI receiver

and then the REDRAY player showing stunning footage on a massive Sony 4K tv/monitor - gobsmacked!

In view of the other other products and announcements to come NAB is going to be storming
and I'm going to have a big hole in my wallet

Big thanks to Sam Measure and Brian Ferguson for showing me round

What about proxies via Meizler?

The mini-SSD reader was there on the module but I didn't see it demoed - sorry!
