It works flawlessly. To improve i think it needs focus slider to be adjustable to be able to focus more precise and bluetooth support for using power mate bluetooth control knobs as focus wheel. Than it will be perfect

On my HTC One M8 it cannot find the Ad Hoc network, over wifi is fine but I we dont always have a wireless connection while shooting which is a bit of a pain :/

Means I have to find ways to carry my iPad around on set which is a bit awkward.

Android doesn't support connecting to Ad Hoc networks out of the box. I've heard of some people setting up at hotspot with their phone and then connecting to that network with the REDLINK BRIDGE in infrastructure mode. This gives you the same effect - a direct connection between your phone and camera.

Can you access the camera's MENU for complete camera control, through this app?
And are there user definable buttons, similar to A/B/C/D on REDmote? I use these for shortcuts to exposure tools.

Edit:
I'm basically looking to replace my REDmote through an Android app.

Menu tree access has been added to the RCP SDK in camera version 5.3. We are working on an update to the Android app that includes this feature. There are currently no user definable buttons on the android app, but that does sound like an interesting feature.

Thanks. As soon as you guys get that update out for MENU access, I'm all in on REDLink Bridge.
