Hey Guys,
I am a Komodo Stromtrooper owner and I saw there was a need for some tempered glass screen protectors so I made some!

I've priced them at 9 bucks and 5bucks for flat rate first class shipping in the USA.

Made with 9H hardness tempered glass. This screen protector is smooth to touch like the original RED Komodo screen unlike some other film based protectors.

I made an install and demo video here:

They can be bought at WittleCamera.com

I just ordered one as well, to put on my order confirmation :hurray:

I figure it will keep the order confirmation safe while it awaits the actual camera. No scratches on that piece of digital paper!

Hopefully though my camera will be shipping this week... and then be tethered to the wall because the batteries aren't here yet.

Shipped already? Wow... talk about a fast turnaround :)

With the exception of the batteries, EVERYTHING for my Komodo has beaten the camera body. Now it's a race between Red and Blueshape. B&H guesstimated Jan 7 for the Blueshapes...

A couple of questions...I already ordered one, just curious...
1-what is the native material of the Komodo window surface? Is it glass or acrylic?
2-Is the adhesive used to afix your tempered glass protector removeable. That is to ask, how easily can the entire protector glass be removed if need be?

1) I have not seen official documentation from RED revealing what native material the Komodo screen is but I've heard some people say Gorilla Glass. I believe some monitors from their DSMC2 line is gorilla glass.

2) The Wittle Camera RED Komodo screen protector is removable and replaceable. The adhesive does not leave residue.

Thanks for taking the initiative on this James. Ordered two!

Chris
