Cool. That might look great projected across multiple theater screens. But when you drop it on to that 16:9 TV that it will more than likely be viewed on, all that extra black becomes a distraction.

Hello everyone and thanks for the feature and even taking time to crop and reupload the video

The aspect ratio in this project was purely a creative decision between me as the DP and the director and has no viewing convenience factor taken into account. Some might say 4:3 is a waste of blank screen space on a 16:9 or even 21:9 (as some modern PC monitors are) screen, but heck, Snyder Cut was released and viewed by everyone like that anyway.

On the other note, I really hope there'll be more 4:3 cameras coming along as it is really a shame to crop in on 2x anamorphic glass and leave the signature focus fall-off out.

Thanks for taking the time to post here. I cropped the image to put it into a more viewer friendly aspect for viewing. If there is any problem at all with my Redo of the cropping of your image, I can remove it. You and your DP Did an excellent job of portraying the character of his music with your editing and grading. Thank you for posting the original video on Vimeo, I really enjoyed listening to his performance of his music.
