RED in Kingston

[Ted Girard]

I am currently doing pre-production planning for a short. I am based in Kingston, ON and I am wondering if there are any REDs (and kits) that might be available for rent here in town, available to be shipped, or if I should plan on a Toronto shoot. I have factored in all of the other available services in T.O., but I have a few Kingston locations that I really like.

Thanks!

Ted

I'm located in Kingston Ontario, and can pretty confidently tell you that there's nowhere you're going to get a RED in town, unless you've got a connection with someone who privately owns one. I don't have any leads for you in that respect. This is a small town.... you'd be lucky to find someone with a 5dmkII!

What are the locations that you're interested in shooting in Kingston?

Ted,

Have you resolved this?

I'm in Toronto.

Eric: I know a few business owners that would let me shoot during off hours, nothing that couldn't be shot somewhere similar, but convenient having the contacts.

David: If you call having my funding fall through "resolved", then yes, it is temporarily resolved. But thanks for asking. I think next time I get funding, I may go to T.O., Montreal or Ottawa.
