  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED in Germany

Ich hab zwar (noch) keine RED Kamera, dafür aber viel RED Equipment und ab Januar einen Octocopter für die Epic / Scarlet.

Falls jemand also mal in Freiburg vorbei kommen sollte, kann man sich gerne auf ein Gläschen Wein treffen!

Bei einem Treffen im Schwabenland oder im Norden der Schweiz wäre ich auch dabei.

Just received a invitation from RED Berlin! Which I though is pretty cool but choosing it to be on a School night (Thursday) not so cool!

Yeah, great news! My old hometown. I just wanted to open a thread about this new Red location, but could not decide in which forum this should be posted. If I can make it, I´m coming to Berlin for this opening...let´s see.

Grüßt euch, ihr Deutschsprachigen! Wo bestellt ihr euren Zubehör-Kram? Ich such länger schon nach einer Europäisch/Deutschen Variante von BH-PhotoVideo oder Ähnlichem. Ihr wisst was ich mein. Da Amazon und Ebay diesbezüglich nur Müll haben, muss etwas besseres her!

Habt ihr bessere Seiten? Bestellt ihr in Amerika? Wie löst ihr das Problem mit den hohen Zöllen?

Mein Interesse geht eigentlich in alle Bereiche: Followfocus, Mattebox, Tripod, Licht, Gaffer, Grip, etc etc etc

Hi Nils,

I order most of my stuff either from RED or from BH-PhotoVideo. Taxes are quite low (~4%) for most items, and I get the 19% VAT back, since I purchase it for my company. A good source in Germany is Teltec. Great customer support and they are willing to negotiate prices, if you show them that there are special offers for the same product in the US (I got a special deal for the Schneider RED essential filter set, after showing them the film-tools offer).

Which special deal did you negotiate at Teltec for the filter-set? Listprice is netto 775,00 Euros. What did you pay?
