Hey everybody,

a lot of you should have gotten the invitation for the RED Germany open house. I just booked my flight and would like to know, who's going.
Remember it's RSVP.

Dominik, are you an owner? Don't know if the invites only went out to those... just check with RED Germany to see.

I suppose the invitation went out to all people who registered and bought stuff at the RED Store the last couple of months... you don't necessarily need to be an actual camera-owner if I'm not mistaken. At least I did get the invitation and I just bought some accessories and not a camera (I'm DIT for 2x RED cameras tho so I think I'm qualified). I'm pretty sure there's a way to attend this even if you're only interested - according to the description it's a bit like a showcase besides of the actual launch party.
 
Just called red germany, it´s open for everyone. me and my partner are long time owners. they just havn´t registered all emails. So with time going by they will complete their database :-)

So what will this Red Germany center offer ? Sales ? Repairs ? Both ? When will it be fully running ?

RED Digital Germany will be in charge of all things RED for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

All the other, non-german speaking, Euro currency countries like France, Italy, etc. will continue to order their gear and get support from RED UK as before. The Euro will be added as a billable currency from RED UK at about the same time so it will get easier.

As to when they are set: in a few weeks the system will be up and running so that they can take orders.

Thanks Patrick, it would be nice to be able to buy directly from Red Germany for the other countries of the Euro zone. Berlin ist wunderbar ;-)
