Red Gemini - How long Reds last

Is there rough info on how long Red Gemini's/Red cameras last, or average total runtime life of the camera?

Using mainly in studio in tabletop settings.

Just trying to see if in between set changes to save some camera life by turning on and off..

Using semi-frequently each week for future.

They last long, like 10000 hours long. Likely, you can kill your camera by switching on and off all the time, but not with running it to infinity. Also you'll probably mess up your black shading by turning on and off all the time.

If you want to protect your cam, better invest into longer warranty. And sell it right after the EOL announced.

look after the camera and it will last for a very long time.
my first Epic Dragon fell down a volcano 5 days after I bought it during drone aerials on a Jackie Chan movie.
it literally rolled down the top of the volcano and bounced over rocks in the smashed to bits drone frame and came to a stop 5 min later at the bottom.
the drone was stuffed and the lens. the camera was covered in ash and volcanic dust...ended up getting a good clean and served me well for another 3 years after that without a hiccup.
they can take more of a beating than we think.
