I’ve just finished a busy year of shooting and am now entering a post production phase so I’ve decided to make some of my RED gear available for rent. All of the equipment is located in Bali, Indonesia, but easily transportable to any other area of SE Asia. If you are in need of RED gear for rent in SE Asia, I’ve placed an info page on my website (http://www.fishtalesfilms.com/RentRED) with details of what is available and some general pricing examples. I did a lot of research prior to building my pricing matrix because I’m trying to keep the pricing very reasonable. I normally specialize in Underwater, but topside configurations are also available.
In addition to rental of RED gear, I’m also frequently available for second unit shoots in the region if you don’t want to send your own crew out for a couple fill in shots. It is even possible at times to piggyback some shooting in a particular location onto one of my existing trips, so if you plan ahead, you can have scenes shot to your specs for around the cost of just buying stock. We can also provide logistical support (permits, guides, drivers, translators, etc.) and additional crew for your production including a Cameraman, a DIT or a Production Assistant.
We are constantly adding infrastructure here and now have a 3 axis gimbal for the RED, a Cinemoco slider for time lapse, so if you need something short term in SE Asia, but don’t see in on the website, check with us. A fully loaded new MacPro scheduled for February shipping to upgrade our Bali based FCPX edit suite. We also teach UW filming techniques to topside shooters.
