Red for Documentary

I am starting production on a new doc slated for theatrical release. My last doc was shot with the Varicam and turned out greta. People at Sundance were asking if it was shot in 35mm. I am thinking of using a red for this next one and wanted to know if anyone has used the red for high end theatrical docs. i am concerned about:
1) ease of use
2) small crew with the red
3) camera weight
4) how well the camera holds up in the field

Wpould love soem input and possibly any links ro doc trailers shot with red.
