Does anyone know what is the best way to get red footage on to a quantel sq server? Would you convert footage to mpeg 2 in redcine and then import it via Quantel's ilink firewire interface. I think you can bring in xdcam footage in this way but not sure about other formats. I was hoping I would not have to lay off to tape and then ingest. Thanks in advance for any answers.
