Does the RED Focus have a swappable PL mount so you can put a Canon mount on and check back focus is you're using a Canon mount on the EPIC?
Or is it just PL mount only?

Don't know about the Red Focus, but the Optimator does.

quick question for you guys out there that have been using the RED Focus...I read that the chart is the shape it is for the reason Jarred explained, but is the chart supposed to be dead center of the cross hairs or is that supposed to be off center?
The focus chart on my camera is up and to the left? Anyone else have this same position?

The star is not centered by design. I think it says so in the manual.

EDIT: Quoting from page 11 of the June 7 draft operation guide...

NOTE: The “X” in the center of the screen is displayed by the camera and will not be lined up with the image projected by RED Focus.
