Do you think it'd posible to use the EZ bag and put some bubble wrap and extra protection inside for airplane travel? Does the EZ bag have enough space inside to pad it inside with extra protection? I mean, $500 to $1k... I rather take the risk and if it breaks buy a new one..

No, I wouldn't trust it by itself to protect the jib (actually, the jib probably would be okay, but the case would get shredded!) You might be able to ship it in the case that's in a cardboard box. Try contacting Ben Hunley at Volunteer Cases (bhunley@volcase.com) to see how much they would charge for an ATA case.

Hybrid Cases can make a custom case for EZFX Jibs and the EZ Jib. They have the EZFX dimensions and can do simple to extra heavy duty. Hybrid 1-800-645-1707

I just got mine. It came all bubble wrapped inside its case, and I'm sure it would make it through air travel that way just fine (as it did en route to my home.)
