Hey!

I use my user buttons on my EVF very frequent and ask myself, why isn't it possible to get a »EVF User 1+2« option, like the SSD module has? Is there any chance to see this in a future firmware?
Another feature I would love to see: turn off all display tools. I do toggle a lot of display tools and sometimes the tool stays active instead of inactive. In that moment I have to disable it via the menu. So a shortcut would be great!

Cheers,
Moritz

We'll look into this.

Would a global toggle tools or one for each monitor be better? That is, would you want a 'EVF (Brain): Toggle Tools' action (along with ones for each of the other monitors). Or just a 'Monitor: Toggle Tools'.

You can accomplish this now with an elaborate preset/key mapping setup. But I agree, a built in key action would be nice.

Hey Trent!

Thank you for your answer! I look forward to the upcoming firmware versions.

I find very interesting your idea of the "toggle button". But I need something different, and a kind of "reset button".
Usually I work without tools. If I then press the button the image changes to the "EDGE mode". If I release the "EDGE button" again, the image should be back to normal. Most of the time it works, but sometimes the behavior is reversed then: as soon as I press the button the picture is normal and if I let him go, the image will be back in the "EDGE mode" displayed. In such a situation, I must go into the menu and turn it off by hand. So I'm asking for a »force turn of all display tools« button.

Back to your idea: I think your idea makes sense. I personally tend to a global switch, because I would probably rarely use it and then two switches would be a certain waste. But that's just my opinion. Maybe somebody else would be pleased about individual switching options.

Anyway, I'm glad Red has an open ear even for the smallest ideas :)

Cheers,
Moritz
