RED EVF and other cameras

Just wondering: Will the RED EFV only work on red or is it a standard HD-viewfinder thta you can use on ei. a Phantom HD (a standard Sony HD viewfinder port). Regards Mathias

It will only work on the RED (at least for now.)

Also same with Hocus Hook , you can not youse it with another camera

It will only work on the RED. BTW, the Phantom HD does not have a standard Sony VF port. The cable on a Sony needs to be changed to make it work. The output of the Phantom VF are component HD video (switchable formats) and 12vdc power.
