I can send you serial number i can even vid the cam itself while the reduser.net screen is on vid and 20,000 euro is like $25,000-26,000 (USD) so thats fair enough pm if your interested.

Please post pictures here like everyone else. If your worried watermark them with your name so they can't be used for anything else. Otherwise this post looks just as much of a scam as the rest...

I understand why a lot of you guys are jumping into this discussion. There are a few potential red flags (no pun intended) in regards to this thread. Things that have already been brought up. I will just say that before crapping in and trampling all over someone's for-sale thread, it's best to just post simple questions about your concerns. There are a lot of internet scams these days, especially involving camera and electronics equipment. It strikes me that while there are indeed a lot of scams, there are even more naive buyers who don't take necessary precautions to shield themselves from fraud. Just like one user in this thread already -- posted an email address publicly. Why?

I've said it before in other discussions and here we go again. When purchasing a RED camera from someone, always verify ownership credentials and set up the transaction to be handled through RED or one of its affiliate offices -- ie: RED Europe in this case. They will also inspect the camera and will make sure it's all working properly or will make a list of needed repairs. Once inspected, and repaired if necessary, the camera can be certified with a 90 day warranty to the new buyer (additional expense). RED also handles transfer of ownership for the owner of record. Seriously, if I were buying a RED camera, just because someone may have pictures of the camera or a video of them holding it, it doesn't mean squat. They may not be the owner of record. If you buy it, you may not be able to register in your name and get proper support for the camera down the road.

Not trying to trample on the seller here, but I'm pointing out that there are means in place to properly handle transactions like this.

I'm just saying that people should be careful out there. Both buyers and sellers. I ran into an attempted scam only about 10 days ago trying to sell an HP workstation. There are just as many fraudulent buyers out there. Legitimate sellers are also taking risks. Let's not forget that and pee in their cheerios just because a for-sale post seems a little off kilter.
