Isn't this going to work out only $1000 cheaper than buying it new? Or am I missing something here?

It's $3500 cheaper. $3700 cheaper if the buyer chooses the Nikon mount option.

At any rate, doesn't matter. He can ask whatever price he wants, you don't have to buy it.

Thanks Jeff. Yes I think it's a very fair deal for a camera that has been treated so well.
 
He was asking $18k before. In the Red store, an Epic with Nikon mount and side SSD is $19,800. So with the transfer fee, you're saving about $1k right? Genuine question, am I missing something here?

He's free to sell it for whatever price he wants, totally agree. I'm also free to ask questions.
