Selling my Red Epic-X brain. Includes the standard SSD module. Original Epic-X case. Case still looks brand new, never been used. All of the necessary covers for lens mount, side handle and SSD areas. AC power adaptor... only used once, still looks new. Also throwing in an Olympus button mic for scratch audio.
Brain has 1750 hours. It's in excellent condition with very few cosmetic flaws. I am the camera's original owner and it has never been a rental item, so it's been well cared for. The camera does have 2 minor issues. The first is the date always rolls back to 0101. I've heard this is because the internal clock battery has died. This is supposedly an easy, cheap fix at Red, should you desire to have it corrected. The second is the HDMI port is no longer working. I am not sure if that is expensive or not for Red to fix. SDI still works fine and that is all I ever needed. Aside from those two things, the camera has never had a single issue.
Price $7000
Buyer is responsible for shipping & insurance charges with carrier of their choice. Buyer is also responsible for any PayPal fees. If buyer chooses to do a Red ownership transfer, they are responsible for that cost as well. Camera is available to be shipped from Oct. 25th and any date after. I will be out of town until then.
Local pickup in the Los Angeles area is available.
