  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED Epic Weapon - Canon Lens Mount some times not reading F Stop

My Canon Lens mount sometimes doesn't register the Fstop to the brain. I'll put a lens on, tighten it down and it say's "NA" for Fstop on the screen. I'll then, on location loosen the lens mount and wiggle it back and forth and it always eventually triggers the lens after a few moments of doing that. Curious, if there is any suggested way to clean the contacts - or fix this issue. I'm guessing this guy is going to eventually strand me, so I need to figure out this issue now. Also, this issue was happening earlier on my Scarlet Dragon(500 hrs) at the very end of it's life, before I upgraded to the Weapon(50 hrs). I was kind of hoping this issue would be resolved with the Epic weapon, but it doesn't seem to be the case..
