Of course you get it on the external surfaces when you breathe on the cold glass when you take it inside where there are a lot of people breathing. Much like needing window defrost in the cold car. I mean the internal condensation when you take the lens out on a cold morning from a relatively humid warm overnight storage. That is the one difficult to clear... I've dealt with it many times...
