Red Epic-W - screen freeze and fans off during Black Shade

I reverted back to 6.3.78 from the 6.4.17 beta and now my camera freezes during black shading. Any ideas how to remedy this. Basically, it starts black shading, then after about 5 mins the fans go to high, then they turn off completely and the screen freezes.

Appreciate any help.

Power down the camera, remove all power sources to the camera. Remove all modules. Remove monitor/s attached to the brain. Wait for 30 minutes or so. Attach the monitor. power up the camera with the minimal config. Power down the camera and attach one module at a time.

It worked for me. Give it a try.

Thanks Neil, it was a case of third time lucky for me with the black shade but I shall try your method next time!
