Hi,

Have anyone experienced a change on their batteries after trading to the Red Epic W?
I have 4 switronix xp-l95red batteries that now lasts for only minutes. One of them seems to hold a little better. This did not happen with my Red Epic Dragon.
They are 3 years old but it is still strange that it happened something to all of them at the same time.

I have some IDX batteries that stills works as before the trade in, and I even use Freefly Movi m10 batteries to power the red when doing heavy set up drone work.

I use a Swittronix charger for all those batteries, and maybe that could be a source of error, but I did that before the trade in as well and everything worked great.

Seems like the batteries charges and it says full on the charger, also on the batteries. Then I start the camera, and it says 100%. Goes down to about 90 % and suddenly it says 0 % and sometimes I do not get the time to switch it off before it looses power.
The batteries are as I said 3 years old, maybe actually 3,5 years old. They are the same brand as the charger that it came with and these batteries have always been charged with this charger. But sometimes I have charged IDX batteries on the same charger as well. Seems like the Red Epic W do not like these batteries or they magically just all went bad at the same time.

Hey, Sorry to hear that man. I would check to see if the batteries drop dead like that on other equipment too(if possible). I had a weird moment with my Rolux batteries where I accidental nudged(barely, more like brush) the back left side of the battery and my camera impropely shutdown and I lost the clip I was recording but it diddn't corrupt my card (thank god). I unscrewed then rescrewed the base expander and have not had an issue since. I might have not screwed the expander in properly originally. I don't know... but try other batteries on the epic-W and try different equipment with the batteries.
All the best man.
