When Scarlet is out, do you think it will be distinguishable from EPIC at 1080p?

When Scarlet is out we can talk about Scarlet. It's naughty naughty to try and get Scarlet secrets out from me ahead of time! :-)

Did you notice the parts on Black Swan that where shot with 7D while you where watching the movie? Or Canon parts in 127 Hours?
well, yes I did but the rest of Black swan was pretty grainy super 16. No one is saying that you can't intercut a few scenes with dslr footage but this epic vs gh2 comparison is really a non starter. If you are shooting videos for vimeo, then the gh2 is totally fine and actually a great deal but no-one is going to shoot a major movie on a gh2, they are on the epic.
How long before we see an iphone/epic comparison?

I really doubt that.

That is what I've said from the get go.

In this test I saw nothing that I can conclude about the abilities of the two camera except that you put the next to each other and shoot similar images.

This was a poorly conducted test that gave me no real information that I can deduct any conclusive information about the abilities of both cameras.

The only real information that was tested was that I can shoot a shaking tree branch with a GH2 or an Epic.

A camera test should be done as if you were doing a high school science experiment using the scientific method:

Define a question
Gather information and resources (observe)
Form an explanatory hypothesis
Test the hypothesis by performing an experiment and collecting data in a reproducible manner
Analyze the data
Interpret the data and draw conclusions that serve as a starting point for new hypothesis

If the test was to compare motion of the two cameras on a pixel to pixel basis (not resolution) then this was not shown. A shaking tree branch in front of a grid chart would get more information about the camera's abilities.

Can't take it anymore....
