Hello guys,
I am looking for a bag where I can put my full setup for shooting on the go. Pick up and shoot, stop recording, put back in the bag and move.
I own a peli 1510 with trekpak inserts where i have most of my gear organised, but i want something that i dont need to assemble every time i want to shoot.
All the threads i found online seem to be very old and most of the suggestions are already discontinued bags.

I am not looking for insanely huge bag. i want something that i can snug this setup in and a bit more space for a few v-locks, redmags, etc.

Here is an example of my normal setup. the only thing missing is the evf mount and handles

Please send pictures of your setup in your shoulder bags.

Any good bags out there?

I have heard petrol bags and tenba have very good ones out there but i wanna see some examples and hear your opinions
Cheers

+1 on the quick release, i have my handle, monitor and EVF all on quick release, and has had made a huge difference.
My Kata bag work nice now, as its almost full assembled minus monitor and top handle.

Andrew.

my top handle is on quick release nato rail, comes out in a second. have the evf mount as well (not pictured) which will also come out pretty quickly.
just want the bag :)

Hi Andrew, which QR are you using? and which model is your kata? ta

A Lowepro Nova AW200 can take a really barebone kit if you want it as small as possible.
Scarlet-Body with LCD and sidehandle mounted, two DSLR lenses and a few REDVOLTS, i think that was everything i was able to put inside, not mentioning small things.

I was actually surprised when i tried it.

Hey Pedro,
past a certain size and weight, i find shoulder bags a pain, anything big enough for a rigged epic is too unwieldy and puts you off balance.
check this out. Easy access to gear and very comfortable, light, and a great suspension harness. Look for the videos on how to access the pack by spinning it around while still on your body. A great piece of gear.

I use the Arri Production Unit Bag (Small version - http://www.filmtools.com/arri-production-unit-bag-small.html) and it's awesome.

In the main compartment, I can fit the brain with side ssd, top handle, 5" LCD, vmount battery plate, Paralinx Arrow, Hotlink (all hooked up together and ready to go) Redmags, 2 Sigma lenses (18-35 Art and 50 Art), and cabling.

Each side compartment has a 150wh vmount battery and either a Senn G3 transmitter or receiver in it.

The front pocket has my Zoom H6 and Noga arm, some AA batteries, my backup Senn G3 transmitter/receiver set, and more cabling. There's another compartment in the back that I'm not even using. I could probably fit a 3rd vmount battery in there or another lens.

I highly recommend it. It's awesome for what I need it to do. A very sturdy and good quality bag.

Im using a Kata PL-B-220 Bumbleebee Pro-Light Backpack, and a mixture of quick release from small rig to zacutto.

Keep the suggestions and pics coming guys.
Im taking not of all of them and than will decide what is best for my needs.

cheers
