Hi fellow RED users,

Could anyone here please upload a short (less than a minute) footage of 2K at 60FPS playback?
H.264 compression is fine, but please try to keep the bitrate around 35Mbps.
The ratio is not important, so it can be 2:1, 16:9 or whatever you prefer.

Thanks.

If no one gets back to you I'll do it when my Nikon mount and back ordered Mag reader come in... at least now someone has to wait with me lmfao:sifone:

I don't get it.
Is it such a problem getting footage that plays back at 60fps?
All the R3D and H.264 encoded samples I've seen posted here have been either 23.976, 24 or 25.
Really disappointing.

Oh I see you want actually 60fps. When I shoot 60fps my project is at 24fps so I can automatically get slow motion. I never thought about doing it otherwise. It's great!
Yes, I want 60fps real-time playback , not slow-motion.

[Edit] Here is some 2K 60fps footage at 2048x1152, download the original MP4 file.

Todd,
Thanks but unfortunately, the M4V file is corrupted and cannot be played. Downloaded it twice. I tried playing it with Media Player Classic, QuickTime and Windows Media Player. No go. The downloaded file size is 87.9MB.

In any case, I would really like to see a 2K version, preferably at a healthy bitrate.

Hahaha, sorry it's a little off topic, but what a terrible intersection... What kind of design is that???

Here is some 60fps footage at 1280x720, download the original m4v file.

I haven't yet found settings for 60fps playback at 1080p or higher yet.

Hahaha, sorry it's a little off topic, but what a terrible intersection... What kind of design is that???

haha yeah that left turn lane/row of small parking spaces is ridiculous. What a cluster....

That is just one of 48 similar intersections along Park Ave. Below 42nd street there is no space for left turning cars.

OK, I had a little extra time to re-upload a proper 2K 60fps MP4 sample file. It is 34MB in size.

Todd,
Thanks for the 2k-60fps sample. However, it is a little soft and over-compressed (4488 kbps).
Anyone else has a better 2k-60fps file and willing to share?

Hi Michael,
Thanks. I'll check 'em out.

Michael,
I've downloaded the 1st R3D file (your dog). The playback frame-rate is 23.976FPS, not 60FPS!!
You mis-understood me. You need to set your RED camera to also playback in 59.94fps, not only record in 59.94fps.

Play it back at whatever rate you want to! It was shot at 59.94fps at 2k. Why does it matter what the file says the native timebase should be?

Maybe it would help if you explained what you are doing with this footage.
