I'm working with Sydney Cafe Racers, A community of 100's of guys and girls in the Sydney, Australia area who build, ride and race custom classic motorcycles, I could imagine some pretty cool shots of city lights reflected off helmets and wet roads and angle grinders on metal haha

Just a thought of one of the many things you could do in Australia of course, just the Sydney area alone is remarkably diverse. I alone live 30 minuets from some ancient waterfalls, and one of the best known harbors in the world.

Whatever you do with it, I'm sure will be amazing, it already has proven its self to be a revolutionary camera.

Not yet, they are do this coming June... But I might tactually let go of them and get the Summicron C instead, I just think that they are a much better fit for DRAGON... And for my pockets too...

Till then, shooting on the Schneider Xenon FF primes.

So if you end up in Florida how about we take the Dragon in an underwater cave and see how she holds up to the darkest of darks, blackist of blacks!!!???

I am fortunate to some point to be my own man and make any decision I want at any given time, and unfortunately I still don't have a family which gives me lot's of freedom... And while money is always needed, I think that if I do this for a while I'll be ok just the same... And in the process I know I'll make some one very happy to be able to see touch and shoot the DRAGON, and open their eyes to how amazing this new camera truly is, and what come sour of it.

Florida is on my list of travel to spots and one of my favorite States were I have been many times. Hope you have a nice coney sofa...


PS: Truly hope by then to have passed all tests this time, re-learn how to coordinate my body so to be able to swim, and get my OW PADI Certification...

I actually planned it in Europe to start off Barcelona, but things as always do change and decided to move back to USA and start it form there, LA been the first city of choice.

But thru out 2014 I'll be traveling across the globe just the same, so you never know...

I'll be starting in Los Angeles first, and only travel by CAR, since I'll be carrying tone of gear including, Maxx Digital's ThunderRaid2 Storage, Schneider Kreuznach Xenon primes, Brother, Brother & Sons Area 48 Soft LED's, Kessler Crane Pocket Jib Pro, Trost Motion Slider, Bright Tangerine Viv Matte Box, Miller Compass 25 + a surprise, Village Blackout 6x6 DIT tent and lots of other gear coming from other Corporate Sponsors that will join along the way.

I'm shopping for a "film production vehicle" to carry crew and equip. There are all kinds of solutions ... could be a van (large or mini) or a FORD F-150, or a vehicle pulling a trailer. What is you vehicle? What is a good all around solution for a one man show, film production company?

You are right George they are lots of solutions out there, and the Sprinter type vans seem to be amongst some of the favorite.

I'll be building myself a nice large but compact one this summer, but for now I'll use my trusted GMC Yukon Denali, it's a special edition and I have come to love it so much I took it around the world, and now shipping it back to the US to take with on this journey, definitely not the best vehicle for this type of things, but it is what I have got and I'll ale great use of it, also has a "Natural GAS" modification so now it is a Super Hybrid, and with a tank of 94 liters of Natural Gas gives me enough distance to hopefully find Gas stains to Gas station that has Natural Gas, so that I don't have to fill bad about the environment...

Most definitely I want to make it back to Boston, I miss that City, so let's hope I do, but most certainly won't be before NAB if I do make it out there. And it needs to be in route to or form Miami/NY.

I will keep an eye on your posts, love the idea of BTS since equipment and setup are just as important as the final product. I know a few people on the cheap side that still use major equipment from the silent era....I am an avid entusiast of rigs and sttings, if I can not buy it, I'll make it.

Ketch, you should absolutely come to Boston. I suggest either in May/June or September/October. Myself as well as fellow Redusers Ken Willinger, Nick Pasquariello, Martin Stevens, Adrian Correia, and many other local filmmakers around here could probably help you pull off something really cool. Lots of resources. Of course, schedules become the biggest challenge but nonetheless a trip to Boston will be a very memorable one for you!
