For sale - Red Epic X Dragon kit - £19,000 (no VAT) (was £22,000)
I purchased this camera 2 years ago directly from red USA. It started life with mysterium sensor but has recently been upgraded to the dragon sensor. The camera has only ever been used and cared for by myself and never rented out. As the sensor was upgraded a couple of months ago, it had a full service and check up so I can confirm the camera works perfectly.
The camera has some minor wear, but no dents or bends... Purely surface scratches as you will see on any epic.
As this has been upgraded to dragon, you are eligible to upgrade to weapon if you wish, whereas if I had left it as a mysterium epic, the upgrade options would have ended.
The official ownership of the camera can be transferred from me to you (at a cost dictated by red) so you can receive all the services red offer and a dedicated rep at your nearest red office. When you pay for this ownership change, Red also perform a service on the camera to ensure everything is working correctly.
The kit includes shoulder pad, bars, handles, memory cards, reader, both ef and pl mounts so you're basically good to go once you add your own lenses. There is a freefly side v-mount which I bought for use with gimbals. I tried and tested many setups and this is really a very ergonomic and functional combination of parts both handheld and on gimbals.
