  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

congratulations! Living not too far away from Ticino, I want to ask you how and where you bought the cameras. Did you order them from London?

gentlemen, I would like to join this club. But I have a weakness that is not very common for Swiss people, I'm very bad in business. If someone could pm me where and how you got your Red material, it would help me a lot. I'm a bit nervous and hanging in the air right now.

I test this tomorrow at my studio of ww.rsi.ch Television Switzerland, i hope Sony get for demo one projector 4k or a lcd 4k ;)

Philipp you buy a Red Epic m is ready to ship if you want.
 
doesn't an Epic-X make more sense now? And I want to wait until Thursday, which is part of the reason why I'm so nervous and excited. An Epic-M I cannot afford.

So you work for RSI? Part time or full?

Scarlet will be a great camera certainly cost less than the Epic, but m still very powerful.

is a full-time for a long time ..;)
 
yes, I'm not decided yet. My budget is for a Scarlet package, but maybe an Epic-S or -X might be a better choice. I'll have to buy some glass too, I begin from scratch.

Is it possible to buy from you or from RSI? I assume you have much better conditions for buying gear than a private person like me. Or is this not allowed? I certainly don't want to do anything illegal, also to have full service from Red Europe.

Please forgive my ignorance, it's the first time.:blush:

The purchase can only be made through Red, you can contact the bomb squad and send you directly to your Epic or Scarlet at home, if you have technical problems, the Pinewood London will support.

There is already someone who is renting the RED in Grigioni ?
 
the next rental house is in Zürich I believe. Or in Ticino, who knows? Anyway, I think I just see what's being announced this week, and take my time with my first purchase.

But Grigioni is not entirely deserted. In Valendas is Vanquish Alliance, a film production company, and in Glion there is a nice little cinema.
 
sure, wait 3 November Scarlet is very good, if passed by the Ticino and speak a little Italian will be pleased to show you the epic;) there are no problems philipp
 
thank you a lot, I would be pleased to meet you in person. There is actually a documentary I would like to do in Ticino, but first things first.
