Red Epic 1510 Pelican Case

Hey guys,

I had a quick question regarding the Red Epic 1510 Pelican Case.

It's a little difficult to close the lid, and when I open it back up, there is an imprint in the foam from the ridges on the side of the epic.

The cutout is a perfect rectangle for the area where the top of the epic should come in contact with the case.

I'm wondering if this case was cut for a scarlet instead of an epic?

Has anyone else noticed this with their case?

Epic and Scarlet are the same size. Perhaps you have a top and bottom plate installed? Also, the cameras are pretty rugged and shouldn't damage it.

Wow, you hit the nail on the head haha
I flipped the Epic over and I still had the wooden camera bottom plate on.

It just blends in so well with the bottom of the epic!
