Hey,

Has anyone come up with a solution for linking multiple PC based editing systems together to work on Red projects?

I know there are Mac based Networks, such as Final Share, but I haven't found anything for PC. Even Final Share can't handle Red 4k. Basically, we want three editing stations to share one storage for 4k R3d footage.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Final Cut Pro Suite does distributed rendering. Look up Qmaster and then you can process and trigger your cores together. For Motion or Final Cut Pro.

Or you can just have a Red Rocket and port it out from 4k rendering files to manageable 2k ProRes. And edit it in 2k. - Totally doable. (unless you want to stick with 4k editing and viewing.. with the Red Rocket, yes there is a breakout box option . And hook it up to a 4k projector. (really I dont have a 4k projector yet.. but its in my short term plans for my house).
